Revelation 12:10–12
A Voice Announces Victory
John hears a loud voice in heaven announcing God's salvation, power, and kingdom, and the authority of his Christ.
The accuser has been thrown down. God's people overcome him through the blood of the Lamb and their testimony. They remain faithful even when facing death.
Heaven is called to rejoice. But Earth and sea receive a warning: the devil has come down in great anger, knowing his time is short.

The passage identifies the speaker as a loud voice in heaven. It does not explicitly identify that voice as God.
The Lamb represents Jesus Christ. Revelation 5:6–10 connects the Lamb's sacrificial death with redemption.
The assembled figures, heavenly architecture, and red shadows are artistic choices. They illustrate rejoicing, faithful witness, and warning.
The phrase “a short time” supplies no calendar date. Christians interpret its historical application differently.
