Oath of Peaceable Defense

I, , being of sound mind and of my own free will, do hereby solemnly declare and affirm:

That I recognize and accept my lawful place among the peaceable unorganized militia of the United States,
and my spiritual role within the Christ Commanded Church Civil Covenant Corps.

I swear before Almighty God, and under the Constitution of these United States,
that I will walk in peace, truth, and justice;
that I will defend the helpless and stand firm in righteousness;
that I will never raise arms in aggression,
but I will not flee from the sacred duty to defend that which is holy.

I put on the whole armor of God:
the helmet of salvation,
the breastplate of righteousness,
the belt of truth,
the shield of faith,
the sword of the Spirit,
and my feet shod with the readiness of peace.

I hereby acknowledge this oath as a voluntary, binding declaration of peaceful intent and constitutional loyalty,
made in public or private affirmation, and preserved by the authority of the Christ Commanded Church.
